Spring 2023 Information
Hello and Happy New Year!
The Iowa City Community String Orchestra rehearsals for the spring concert will start on Tuesday, January 17th at 7:30 pm at the Preucil School of Music, North Campus located at 2916 Northgate Dr, Iowa City, IA 52245. We are excited to see everyone and welcome new members.
If you intend to play this semester please sign up by Friday, January 13th, 2023. This allows us to know who is playing as well as how you would like your name to appear in the program. You can sign up by clicking on the following link:

Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 7:30-9:30 PM at the Preucil School North Campus in Iowa City (2916 Northgate Dr, Iowa City, IA 52245).

- Dress Rehearsal at the Englert- Saturday April 15, 9:00 AM
Spring Concert is Sunday, April 16 at 3pm at The Englert Theatre

Elgar – Serenade for Strings, Op. 20 (12’)
Kimber – Quest for viola solo and string orchestra (2022) (7’) first performance
Krenek – Symphonic Elegy (16’)
Kimber – Night Music for viola solo and string orchestra (2013) (12’)
Kimber – My Cute Kitten (3’)
Our viola soloist will be Donghee Han.
